For the 2025/2026 academic year, Tashkent University of Humanities offers educational grants and benefits across various categories to support talented, active and creative applicants and to provide them with material and moral encouragement. The grant amount may vary depending on the field of study and conditions; an applicant or student may use only one grant benefit at a time (with certain exceptions). This Regulation was approved by the university rector on June 30, 2025, and discussed at University Council meeting No. 10 of the same date.
Grant and benefit types available for applicants and students in different categories.
Holders of an internationally recognized English certificate (IELTS 5.5–9.0 or TOEFL 46–120) are recommended for a 10–50% grant through an interview, without entrance exams.
Applicants holding a Korean (TOPIK) or Chinese (HSK) language certificate receive a 10–40% grant depending on their level.
Applicants with a national certificate in a foreign language or general subjects (level B2–C2 or A+–C+) receive a 10–40% grant.
Winners of international or national subject olympiads are admitted on a grant of 20–100% without exams, based on an interview only.
Winners of world, Asian and national competitions in Olympic and Paralympic sports receive a grant of 5–50%.
Creative, artistically gifted, inventive young people can receive a 5–15% grant through an interview based on their creative portfolio.
Applicants who graduated from school, lyceum, college or technical school with a gold medal receive a special 10% grant.
Students with Group I disability receive a 100% grant, and Group II a 40% grant.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, applicants receive a special benefit applied as a one-time discount on the tuition contract.
A student who pays 100% of the contract fee before September 10 of the current academic year receives a 15% discount on the payment amount.
Awarded to active students who make a worthy contribution to the university’s development in academic, social and cultural spheres.
Students studying 1–2 semesters at partner universities abroad are exempted from the tuition contract fee for that period.
An applicant or student may use only one grant benefit at a time; multiple benefits are not combined (with certain exceptions).
The education grant is not issued as cash or non-cash funds — it is applied only as a one-time discount when paying the tuition contract for the current academic year.
Grants awarded to bachelor’s and master’s students are allocated for one academic year; in subsequent years, grants are redistributed among students with strong academic performance and social activity.
Documents supporting the grant or benefit must be submitted to the university by September 30 of the current academic year, otherwise the grant is cancelled.
A sharp decline in academic performance (e.g., GPA below 3.0), lack of social activity, violation of discipline, or unexcused absence from university events are grounds for cancelling a grant.
If submitted international or national certificates are found to be forged, the applicant or student is expelled, their grant is cancelled, and the matter is reported to law enforcement authorities.
