✅ "As part of our official visit to the Republic of Turkey, meetings with the leadership of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf Üniversitesi — one of the region's oldest and most prestigious educational institutions — opened a new stage in our cooperation.
✅ Following the official negotiations, the university's leadership gave us a close look at the institution's rich historical heritage and modern potential. Based on what I observed, I would like to highlight the following:
✅ Historical continuity and grandeur: Founded in 1471 by the great commander Fatih Sultan Mehmet, this 555-year-old center of learning left a deep impression on us. A particularly vivid example of the harmony between history and modern education is that students study amid unique monuments of Ottoman architecture in historic districts such as Üsküdar, Haliç, and Topkapı.
✅ Strategic partnership and academic integration: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the university is not merely a document — it is a gateway to international opportunities for our students and faculty.
✅ Going forward, our academic staff will have the opportunity to pursue professional development at historic sites such as the Hagia Sophia Madrasa, and to exchange experience through Erasmus+ and other international programs.
✅ Scientific and innovative approach: After touring the university's laboratories and technology-equipped lecture halls, we reached agreements on implementing joint innovative projects and co-organizing international conferences.
✅ I am confident that the strategic partnership established with Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf Üniversitesi will strengthen Tashkent University of Humanities' standing in international rankings and help us provide our students with a high-quality education.
✅ I express my deep gratitude to the host leadership for their warm welcome and for giving us a close look at the university's work. This partnership not only strengthens ties between our two universities but also reflects the unity of our two fraternal nations on the path of knowledge and enlightenment.
